reimplementation of the custom model selection for skins?
the first few versions had this, and i used this oppurtunity to reskin star platinum to the model used here https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1697949813. the reason was simple. the model from jump force used a lot more power for my gmod to render, and therefore caused it to crash more often. however, a recent update has removed this ability, would it be possible to release a small update that places it back in? otherwise i feel that ppl with near crap pc/laptops are being descriminated against

Bro, how the hell is that discrimination, but it's going to be a thing again eventually just... Why would you say this?

simple. high poly models tend to make low end pc's crash gmod.
and without the model selection, you would be stuck with the high poly models meaning lo end pc ppl couldnt play the mod without crashing from the model of star platinum and cant enjoy the best mod ever that is gstands.
and i also didnt know that it would be reimplemented. i was just asking if it would be possible to do so.
obviously since it was planned to be put back in, that answers that question. yes it is possible.
sorry to cause trouble. it seems that i always cause trouble anyway

i feel it should be added back not because i have a pc i found in a dump it's because i don't really like the jump force star platinum and the world it would just be cool to be able to change the models again

yea, not to mentiion the styles clash. the other stand models use the eoh models, but the world and star platinum use jump force?

Okay, while these are fair points; I still need to know why you claimed discrimination, it doesn't add up to me. How is using high-poly models a form of discrimination? It's not like Copper can just delete polygons. I must also mention my laptop isn't exactly high-end, but it runs GMod smoothly, even with the Jump Force models and a plethora of addons. So I'm wondering what computer you can possibly have to be worse off than mine.

The model clash is bound to happen since most models are taken from Diamonds records/Eoh or are custom (high priestess, empress) for example

i only have 8 gb of memory. besides. im using a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop. not a desktop pc. and a lot of other ppl use laptops for gaming too.

I have 8gb of memory, I have a laptop not made for gaming yet it runs gmod smoothly with the jump force models. What bootlegged laptop from the depths of Bulgaria do you have?

how. mine is built for gaming in the first place. the weirdest thing is, i can run tf2 on max and other more recent games on max. with near max fps. but for some reason gmod my pc dosnt want to run properly at times
