You don't really need haulers on crop farms if you put industry near their access. Haulers from bakers, for example, get wheat directly from farms. It would be useful, on my opinion, to increase the arable radius to the extent of the external radius of farms. This way, we could crop at least 90 tiles of arable land. You could use the empty slots only with farmers.
