Other Races
Ideas for the Races not already covered; Snow elf, Dremora, Afflicted, Elder.
*snow elfs probably preferrably on a seperate upload for people who do not have dawnguard

Snow elfs - Healing spells cost % less and heal % more

Dremora - Some what similar to one of the orc ideas, make them able to craft daedric armor, the catch is to make daedric armor that is the equivalent of each heavy armor type and require that perk to craft it and i thought it would be neat to name the armor by dremora ranks from oblivion, for example iron would be churl daedric armor and have the stats of iron armor.

Afflicted - poisons crafted are % stronger, immune to disease

Elder - perhaps faster skill progression, but slower health and stamina regeneration

Just some ideas I had, feel free to share your own.

wait Elder is a race? Yeah any non-vanilla playable race i'd have done on a seperate mod anyway. I'm probably only going to end up doing races I like for the additional ones, given that they're more work. If I can work out how, i'm adding in a maomer race, and probably aldmer and ayleid too.

yeah its in the ck, they're just wrinkly basically.

oh. Is that the race that the greybeards are then?

i ever felt like there should be a forsworn race

The forsworn are, oddly enough, all bretons. The briarhearts even, they just have "briarheart armor" that causes the look of their chest.

The wiki actually says they're from a clan of Reachman and are part breton, part nord. They're pretty much a separate race, as they came about when the nords bred with proto-bretons and elves, so they're a pretty mixed bunch.

I was referring to the creation kit

yeah the actual game data has them as bretons, but I may yet make a forsworn race and maybe even a questline. Naturally it'd be a seperate mod :D. I did always like the forsworn.

in Morrowind, I remember creating a race that was 2 feet tall and baselined in all stats, the only "perk" to it was it was a challenge to play. Being a peasant is bad enough but being two feet tall and a weak, dumb, clumsy tactless and foolsih alien is mother nature's crime.

Dwemer are gone, would be cool but a lot of work for their chararistic beards.

What about the Ayleids from Oblivion ? They would be an nice race to play

plz dont add too many mixed races, it is bad enough that the bretons(and forsworn) already defy the basic lore. normally you get the race your mother has, known exceptions are the bretons and in oblivion the champion of the arena who was part vampire, but still mainly orc.
