High Elf
In addition to the 50 magicka boost, a high elf's destruction spells cost 20% less to cast. They also start with 10 extra levels in destruction and 5 in illusion rather than the other way round.

Those are really excellent stat boosts for the high elf. But I'm already 80+ hours in the game. I'm sorry if this is a silly question but is there any conflict if I add this mod to a previously started game? Or do I only reap the benefits if I start the game from scratch?

I've tried to engineer the boosts so that they make a difference at all levels. the levels thing is just because i think it's stupid that a magic based race has more skill in sword wielding than damaging magic so I switched illusion and destruction.

How about the altmer start out with stamina lower than 100?
Yokai  [developer] 22 Mar, 2014 @ 11:08am
I already have mods called "character creation overhaul" which gives them 80 base stamina and 120 base magicka (then the 50 point bonus on top of that). That thought didn't even cross my mind. Also my edits are really more percentage based so they are always relevant.

maybe you could make it so they do better as pure mages by giveing them bonuses that add to that fact since they seem to be mostly focus on magic anyways even without mods so ya maybe make it so they learn all types of mage favoring skill faster without the need for the mage stone or maybe in connection with it

ive given that boost to bretons. I think honestly the 20% lower cost spells is relatively OP in itself. Especially when you combine that with increased magicka and inevitable magician's robes.

ya true just that sometimes even with the lower cost it could be hard since there the least armored of all the races but eh your choice is fine just have to think of how to use that lower cost effectly i guess XD

also wondering in what way will you be adding this effect since i use invested magic and trying to make sure non of my mods conflict with your since to be honest the idea for your mod is great and need it alot >.<

all the editing I do is directly editing the ability and nothing else except for fire damage of the dark elves which is edited directly into the spell, so it shouldnt effect other mods unless those mods also edit the passives.

ah k then maybe not but we'll have to see.
