Ironically, for the Yugoslav Communist Path, Gorkić and Tito should be the other way around. Gorkić was executed in the USSR as a supporter of Nikolai Bukharin, and was therefore in opposition to Stalin's position, and Tito at the time was considered a loyal Comintern functionary. A better figure to represent the "Stalinist" route for Yugoslavia would be someone like Andrija Hebrang, who was generally considered to the main supporter of Stalin after the war at least.

I'll have to look into it, i've been mainly relying on my local yugoslavian history buff, winter, to feed me this kind of information.

On further reading, while Hebrang might be a better choice, he was in prison in 1936 and I don't want to bend the timeline too badly. While I do understand seeing tito as a hard liner, and Grokich as more of an independent communist leader, I have to fundamentally disagree on those both being forced into one category or another, as its more a spectrum. I see tito as someone who just sought to gain power and hold on to it, i'd see him much more quickly spiral into independence from the comintern if the oppertunity presented itself. Gorkich might have done the exact same as Tito given the choice, I see him more willing to submit to stalin as he willingly went to moscow when he was ordered to, and stalin might not execute a useful pawn if he is already in power.

I understand not wanting to bend history too much, but then again we have to consider the already history-bending situation of Yugoslav Communists coming to power before 1945. I can imagine it could be done in some kind of internal party struggle series of events, though decisions/ focuses. Hebrang would certainly not be in prison when the Communists come to power, for example, and you could kinda make it so Tito represented the "Independent" section of the Party, and Gorkić representing a "middle-ground", and Hebrang representing the "Stalinist" or pro-Comintern section. Kinda like how most KR paths put off internal struggle between factions until after the revolution is won.

I'm very much still formulating the exact plan when I start writing the code for the communist path. But I already have an idea for the three paths, and adding a fourth one (hebrang) would just seem a bit extra at that point, at that point I rather just have it be three paths I have to worry about instead of the four. I could see Hebrang in a position of power, its just that I can't see the logicial steps that gets to that point, and from that I can't really write a covincing way for Hebrang to become said leader. I will have to think about this for a while however. I might add Hebrang, might not as I have more indepth research to do at this point for my ideas for both tito and gorich.

Okay, that's fair enough, I certainly don't want you to do any more work than you think is necessary.

Unfortunately, the pictures are not broken. This mod was made in conjunction with Dreams of Austria, and more of the portrait artists worked on that instead of this. I'm slowly getting them as time marches on and will update this build as I get them. For now theres not a lot I can do besides just giving them generic portraits instead. Sorry for the inconvenience
