When you research the first electronic warfare tech you get access to EW aircraft which appear on tactical airbases and carriers.These carry EW pods which are also available as a loadout to the multirole aircrafts(both land and sea based).When an enemy radar(includes those installed on ships) is within range of the EW weapon the radar range is reduced(currently to 40%-60% for SW and 80% for long range) with the upgraded techs the range of the EW weapon is increased.The EW aircraft can orbit a point like the AWACs
so a good strategy is to orbit an aircraft close to a heavy network of SAMs in order to defeat them wihtout them intercepting the incoming missiles
In a future update the precision of guided weapons will also be affected
Will the mod manager auto disable any incompatible mods??
