Class/Species Overview: Faceless
- There are three specializations for the Faceless. Twenty Faces is their stealth tree, which lets them act as capable scouts without needing to fear as much in regards to a surprise reveal as a flankable soldier. Malleable is a mixed utility tree, containing abilities that aid mobility, survivability or add new properties to the Faceless' melee attacks. The Nightmare tree is for going all-out in melee combat, featuring abilities that let the Faceless hit harder and encourages keeping them right up front.

- At the Squaddie rank, the Faceless gets the Phantom, Regeneration and Scything Claws abilities.

- Faceless can't wield weapons, which means they don't get any upgrades on that front. Keep this in mind when ranking them up. Their starting melee damage is moderate, and like the Berserker they can upgrade the damage they do by upgrading their armor (+3 at Plated, +6 at Powered). Unlike the Berserker, the Faceless' longer reach lets them engage enemies like Mutons or Wraith Commandos that might scare off most melee fighters. They also have restricted gear options, but you can never go wrong with a Plating, a Vest, and a Mind Shield.

- The Faceless can ignore injuries and deploy into a mission regardless of them, thanks to their potent regeneration. However, they have the lowest starting Will of all the aliens in this mod, so take care that they don't get shaken from over-deployment. Their infiltration speed is also the fastest of any of the aliens, so assuming you can manage their Will (or give them a PCS to help them out in that regard), they'll be able to attend many missions.

- Faceless have the ability to jump up to higher elevations; they don't need a ladder or even need a wall to climb. This makes them fantastic scouts even without a dedicated build for it.

- Faceless cannot use cover, their HP is lower than a Berserker, they have no naturally occurring Armor, and they don't have innate Defense and Dodge like an Archon. Do your best to control how many enemies the Faceless engages at once, so you can rely on their Regeneration ability to keep them alive. Anything you can do to give them Armor (armor upgrades, vests, etc.) will help them immensely in this regard.

- Faceless melee attacks hit a wide area and can destroy terrain. Use this to remove enemy cover for your other soldiers to follow up with gunfire, or to take a shortcut during a prison break mission (try not to hit the person(s) you're trying to rescue, though).
