Q&A
If you have any questions regarding this mod, leave them here.
Make sure you've read the manual on the workshop submission and the part descriptions in-game, before asking questions.

Does this work with the modpack parts?

No, the mod only scans vanilla logic gates. I might look for some sort of modpack support in the future, but can't promise anything. There are other features with higher priority right now :)

Is it possible to import circuits directly from circuitverse? If not, I'd like to see it implemented as it would save a lot of time.

If there is a way to extend the application CircuitVerse, like for example export addons, this probably would be possible.

I sadly don't have enough free time and resources to start working on something like this. But if you know someone or are a software developer yourself, I could write a specification with the necessary information to create compatible exports.

It turns out circuitverse has a way to export circuits as verilog code (verilog is a hardware description language). I don't know much about programming although it might not be too difficult to convert verilog code to a circuit.

When you export circuits, where do they get saved. How do you import them

Also, can you compress compressed circuits?

They are exported within the folder the mod's folder. Usually - if subscribed through the workshop - the mod's folder is somewhere in the directory steam has been installed. Look for the workshop item id 2289714402, there should be a folder called Circuits which contains a file named circuit.json. It only saves a single circuit at a time.

Although I've thought about adding this, I haven't come around doing so. For now it's not possible to compress circuits that contain already compressed ones.
