Technobowl - Fan Made Variant
scoreboard
andrewstaines, I'm trying to port an old Avalon Hill football game I have to TTS. I've only done one other game in TTS. Basically just images. I don't know how to do any scripting. I've done the field, team cards, football and such but I need a scoreboard and clock. The scorecard to the AH game was light blue and didn't scan well at all. So I've been looking at other TTS football games for a scoreboard and clock I could try to duplicate. Your scoreboard for Technobowl is the best I've seen. Like I said, I don't know any scripting so looking at your red and blue scorer, I'm confused where the original score is coming from. The scorers refer to guids 13fc5e and 078bf5 but I don't see those anywhere so I'm confused at how the score get created. Is this something you could help me with?

Hi capt.von.ondine,

I also only have a limited scripting experience, but I'm keen to learn!! The coding for the scoreboard was done by Aggie0642. It's probably best that you join our Discord and you can contact him over there.

I love Sports Games and would be keen to try the one you're loading in. Would you also like to give this a go?

Thanks for the info. I'll probably join because I would like to get this scoreboard thing figured out and implemented. Like I said, the scoreboard and clock are the only things holding me up from putting this out.

By this do you mean Technobowl?

My game is called Bowl Bound. It's college football in the 1960s. It's basically the same game as the TTS game data-driven football. Except that one is Pro football and mine is college.

Yeah, I'll try Bowl Bound and if you like, you can test out our fan made variant of Technobowl :)

Do you have a Discord? We use that for arranging games and discussing stuff https://discord.gg/CSrBhrW
