As Nod and GDI have many differant iterations with wepeons and units.
As for an ideas you could use the MCV as a worker instead after all by the time you get combustion it would not matter.
Maby try to do things with stealth like have the Hand give stealth instead of 15+ xp or other bonuses.
I feel the MCV is more of a settler than the a worker and that is why I went with it. I also like the MCV to be available during Combustion and not sooner because I feel NOD does not become a big player on the world's stage until Tiberium hits the Earth.
Giving any units stealth other than the Stealth Tank would just be too strong.
The Temple of Nod will eventually be added, but when it does it will have to be able to fire Nukes like it does throughout the CnC franchise.
Advanced spies would also be too strong unless every civ had access to it (since nod spies are not superior to GDI's).
GDI will have access to the units you mentioned above. Though the anti stealth and MCV will be units that both GDI and NOD will have access to.
If it only fires one nuke (like it did in CnC 95) the nuke would have to be a bit stronger than the nukes you make in the atomic age. If the building itself allows you to nuke then I would have to tone down it's power considerably and probably have a very short range.
Religion will always generate a Great Prophet as it currently stands, so the player will always violate Nod doctrine by introducing prophets that are not Kane.
A remedy for that might be to create a UU for the Brotherhood that replaces the Great Prophet but fulfills a lot of the same gameplay uses, but shades them towards the needs of the Brotherhood.
Example:
UU: Grand Confessor
This unit replaces the stock Great Prophet. The Grand Confessor can perform the following actions: create a religion, enhance a religion, spread a religion, and create a unique tile improvement entitled the "Confessional". The Confessional is an alternate Holy Site which produces 3 religion and 2 science base (and can be upgraded via Piety and New Deal as a normal Holy Site, with New Deal giving it +2 Religion / +2 Science if possible).
Just a thought, don't know if you're interested or not. By itself I don't believe it would overpower Nod as a Science civ, but it might be a bit much when combined with a strong Science UA, which I believe is the intention behind The Technology of Peace.
I think the UA I'm about to release is not overpowered (+1 Science to all Land Terrain), but it will give a small helping hand in early teching. I'll need to do a lot of testing to see how it would in the later eras.
I very much like the Grand Confessor idea. I'll have to craft up some names to really use it and that also gives me an idea for Generals as well. I will think on the bonuses toward it that you have posted.
It's one of the many things I want to do before this is done.
I've been very busy lately and I hope to work on this project. Music will be implemented for various sound tracks (most from Frank Klepacki) and possibly a few from CnC 4. If you have recommendations please list them.
I also noted that in CNC 3 GDI's victory condition is 33% land owned by them. While Nod's victory condition was them having more cities with high uproar or something. So I'd like to point out that NOD would have an increased chance of gaining city state allies. However they won't give more world council members because of the isolated way they operat.
That's all I wanted to point out. It's mostly things I noticed in several games of Command and Conquer, I hope this helps.
