Ok, I thought finally I should try this out, subscribed to it, went to mods and it wasn't there, any ideas why? Usually every other mods worked right away, thanks :)

*IMPORTANT* The x's signify the current version of the mod that is released. So if it's 0.15 or something make sure it says that. Example. (0.14) (v 1) not (x.xx) (v x). The same goes for *USERNAME* This is the username of your computer.

If the mod does not appear in the mod screen and you start to have problems do the following:

1. Delete your cache folder located: C:\Users\*USERNAME*\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5

2. Delete any old version of this mod in the MODS folder.

This will usually fix the problem and simply reload Civ5 and try again.

If this problem continues, continue following the steps:

3. Check the MODS folder to see if a "Command and Conquer Brotherhood of NOD (x.xx) (v x)" folder is present.

4. Look inside the folder and see if there is any content, if not then continue.

5.Click Back and check the MODS folder to see if a "command and conquer brotherhood of nod (x.xx) (v x).civ5mod" item is in this folder.

6. If there is then use either WinZip/WinRar or 7Zip to open the civ5mod file.

7. Right Click the "command and conquer brotherhood of nod (x.xx) (v x).civ5mod" file and Click Open. From there, either find one of these programs from the list or Browse for it. Procceed to hit Open.

8. From there go to Extract Files (or something similar like Extract all or simply highlight all the files except the arrow and Right Click and hit Extract) make sure the Directory you are placing these files is "C:\Users\*USERNAME*\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Command and Conquer Brotherhood of NOD (x.xx) (v x) and hit OK.

9. Restart Civ5 and the mod will be running.

WinRar is what I used to test this and it seemed to work fine. Possibly delete the files and try again.

Did you go into MODS and make sure the mod itself was enabled? (this means the circle to the right of the mod is green with a checkmark)

I've never tested vanilla so I'm not entirely sure what to say. I'll take a look around and see if I can find out why it will not show up.
I had to unzip the contents into the mod folder, as per the instructions listed. It looks like a very cool mod, i can;t wait to try it.

Do you mean you got it working doing that? Because I'm having the same problem.

Do you guys have the civ5mod file showing up? If you do are you saying you also extracted the files into the proper folder as well?
I did it exactly like this and it worked. What exactly is not working? Does the mod now show up and you can enable it, but simply don't see it as a chooseable Civ?
Please clarify so I can do my best to help you.

The mod shows up, However, i can not play as Nod. For all appearances, it appears to have installed correctly.

I'm not sure if it does support vanilla. I can't see it not working, but I have never tested. I'll look into other reasons why it may not show up first.

Curious, do you see Nod when you set-up the map and your civ? (for instance, when you click mods and enable it and go to the set-up screen. Do you at least see Nod or does nothing show up?)

When i go to set up the map, Nod does not show up on any of the selectable civiliations, to either play as, or to play against.
