Report Bugs.

Please be as detailed as you can. I am not an expert and I will try to address the Bugs when I have time.

Be aware I have a full-time job and I mod in my free time.

When you get errors and you have other mods it might be a conflict with outside mods I can't fix. Please, try to follow the steps below to try to isolate your issue:

To quote many other mod devs:

FOR MOST ISSUES DO THIS FIRST
1. Quit Stellaris and Stellaris (Paradox) Launcher
2. Unsubscribe from all mods. Stellaris Workshop -> Your files (under your avatar) -> Subscribed items - > Unsubscribe From All .
3. Quit Steam
4. Go to SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\281990 and delete everything.
5. Go to (C:\Users\%username%\)Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris and delete the following files:
A. dlc_load.json
B. game_data.json
C. launcher-v2.sqlite
D. everything inside last_mods={ } in settings.txt
6. Restart Steam.
7. Open Paradox launcher.
8. Close Paradox launcher.
9. Resubscribe to your mods.
WAIT UNTIL ALL DOWNLOADS ARE DONE. DO NOT START PARADOX LAUNCHER UNTIL DOWNLOADS ARE COMPLETE.
10. Start Paradox Launcher.
11. Close Paradox launcher.
12. Download Irony Mod Manager (and maybe never use Paradox Launcher again). Easily order and swap mods in and out, change collections easily, share load orders with copy-paste or export/import, resolve conflicts (wiki).

If you followed the directions above all mods should be updated: Gigastructural Engineering & More updates very frequently.

Next, check that you are using the correct load order:

Planetary Diversity - Ringworlds - (Optional Mod)
Gigastructural Engineering & More - (Required Mod)
Giga Diversity

Open a new game and test if you still have the issue.

I think I found the code giving the error. I will push an update. Can you resub and see if you are getting the error still

I'm having trouble reproducing and getting the error on the Asteroid and Barren habitats. Do you have any more details to help me find the issue?

One thing which might help is that I had no asteroid habitats. Whatever is causing the error messages will do so even if none of the things exist.

When I start a game with fewer mods, I'll see if the errors reoccur.

I have been updating the Mod for the most recent Planetary Diversity additions, and I had an idea of what might be causing the issue.

I need to ask which of the Planetary Diversity Sub-mods were you using?

My mod might be improperly referencing resources in PD submods you don't have installed.

I didn't have Exotic, Unique, Shroud, or New Arcologies installed.

It was just PD, PHab, and Reworked Habitability.

I synced to the most recent version of Giga. Let me know if after the update you are still having issues

I'm not sure what other information I am able to provide, however, when using this mod in multiplayer, different players have random different checksums. With this mod disabled, all players revert to having the same checksum.

I have some ideas of what could be happening. I always start with does everyone have all of the require and optional mods up-to-date? Also, are all of the other mods loaded in the same order?

I was able to do some testing and I'm not getting the same issue. Do you have the load order that I have listed in the description. Also, what other mods to you have? It could be a mod conflict.
