Specifics on Nerfs and Changes
Most of the training-animation items in the original mod let you get stats that are either hard or impossible to train outside of normal combat, up to 25 or 30, for free, with no costs of any kind except hitting "F4" and making a sandwich. Martial Arts, Dexterity and Dodge being the biggest standouts.

One thing it's important to know about Kenshi..... losing is not the end. Getting your ass kicked is not just part of the game, it's IMPORTANT. You will be frustrated and confused at harder content in the game if you do not realize that all your characters need TOUGHNESS, especially Martial Artists, and there's no way to get it other than getting smacked upside the head. Plus - you're missing out on a lot if you get too afraid to venture outside your base before your characters are all superheroes. Don't be afeared of "doing it wrong," "losing" a fight, or not getting everything perfect the first time. You are free from that here. You are free to fail, get up, bind your wounds, and try again. Once you realize that, you will find it a massive relief from stress and angst and "Dark Souls" artificial perfectionism.

Ahem. Right. Changes.

The Martial Arts routine has been nerfed from a max of 25 skill to 10. I was thinking of making it 5, but the weapon people get to train attack to 15 so 10 seems fair.

Dodge has been nerfed right down to 5. It's mainly for when you recruit some lunkhead who's got it at like, negative two. It's one of the harder skills to acquire in the game, and takes extensive combat experience. You do NOT gain professional levels of it from ..... jumping jacks.

Likewise, situps in no way make you more nimble, but what the hell, let's go with it. Dex is also one of vital skills to build early on, and the game is designed around you learning it in combat along with your weapon skills. It's capped at 10.

Strength is also capped at 10, because while there are plenty of mods that add STR training objects to the game, they at least require some mats investment and construction whereas the Idle Stands markers are literally free. Thievery training III, for example, takes 2 uncommon items you need to go out and find in the world with no hints on to how as why..... so none of the free training animations go up to 25 or 30 any more.

The meditation....... ah yes.

You have to actually meditate to achieve enlightenment now. You can't buy it in a shop, you can't steal it from a bartender (what WAS that? Maybe that was an error? lol). Once you get it, the free no-mats-required heal is equivalent to a bedroll, except you don't need to carry around a bedroll and your character looks cooler while doing it.

And, as noted on the desc page, I removed all the "Harem" stuff (I'm not sure the original author is completely clear on what that word means lol) as out-of-scope for an idle-marker mod that was based on another mod to make guard posts. If you want your sexy poses back, you're free to go into this patch and "revert changes" on those items, but - and imma rant a little more here now - I don't need literally every single thing I do in life to be "sexi." It's swords and blood in the desert, fer cryin' out loud. It doesn't need to be sexed up to be good at what it does.
