i would try extracting the GMA file with gmpu and editing the image yourself

Here how to change it go to C:\gmod\garrysmod\addons\Pulp scoreboard\materials and you will see a image called plouf.png and just make a picture name it the same and replace it (NOTE: if you have a server and you want people to see it you need to upload it for players to download)
