@Planr I'm trying to work with levelled spells so the damage is scaled based on your level, but I ran into some difficulties. Though I do have a backup plan.

Keep in mind that the fire breath might even be really weak to some players.

I think it would be cool if you plated him some metal like meta ridley looks, but use dwarven.... GASP STEAM PUNK RIDLEY! that would be cool. have pistons out his back and gears and completly destroy the game with lag.

strangely enough the modded item i'm using (an ironman suit mod) has allowed me to 2 hit ridley, which I guess is because my wepon is OP or the boss is pretty weak

@tupe12342 Unfortunately, mods don't help me with collecting data on the difficulty of the Ridley Fight as I cannot account for all the mods out there, but I can account for vanilla weapons, etc.

I love the fact that Meta Ridley flies past when you first arrive (As he did so often in the real game). However...
I don't quite remember his breath being so thoroughly nasty in that game. Or any game from that trilogy. Or any game from the entire series.
Playing as a level 37, with a lean towards heavy armor, health, blocking and one-handed, in full enchanted orcish armor (epic upgraded) and fire/frost resistance all, *plus* drinking regeneration and fire resistance potions, I died summarily in approximately 23 seconds, shortly after flailing into the falls to attempt to stamp out the flames, to no avail.

@Bluecaptain Let me thank you for taking the time to post. Anyway, I wanted to created an attack where he shoots several fireballs at once, but it's not possible from what I know, so I made his attacks strong. I just wanted him to be challenging, and apparently that's what it looks like, based off your 23-second death. ;P It takes some strategy.

Oh, and I hope you mean the lake and not the actual waterfall when you said "falls."

Yes I was quite underwater when it all happened. I'll take another few goes at it. While I'm at it I must say I really enjoyed the Landing Site recreation, especially the doors and the 'Tallon Crabs'.

My first time playing Ridley I got my butt handed to me by the breath. Instead, I just found an alcove and shot him dead with arrows while staying out of the angle of his breath. There was no way I could go toe to toe with him.
Really hoping to see more Metroid in this game. I have the Samus armor mods and I love them. Hoping for a Samus follower mod someday as well.

Should'nt the fight be intensely difficult? This is frickin RIDLEY. He hasnt been in a good game for 8 years! Give him some love damnit!

@SAW The Spartan I haven't nerfed him, yet, but I want him to be strong, too.
