the rocket keeps falling
everytime i try to deploy it to get in, it just keeps falling backwards

Suspension and parking breaks need to be updated. If there's any amount of wind the vehicle the Starship is on gets pushed.

You have to change your physics detail from low to medium. First you go to the settings and then you need to find the general tab. From there you can manage physics detail
