I tried to do a run in mali, played all the way to feudal to build the mines, but they are just not there.
This should be fixed now, let me know if any are still missing.

I'm the latest of CK3 and the only other mod I have is spouse designer,
In my opinion they actually add something valuable by being there. Its not far-fetched to imagine that many nobles were in a situation where they were de facto independent at different times around the time of the start date, as many vassals held high autonomy and relations between lieges and vassals soured frequently. I enjoy starting as these characters and see where that story and narrative take me.
