The UAC Mars base was originally built as a Mars colonization project. However, after a few months supplies started running out and it would take two more for new supplies to arrive. As a response to this, the UAC decided to change their mission from colonization to teleportation. After a month and a half of hard and dedicated research, testing, and assembling, the first prototype was built, so began the first test. The subject steeped onto the platform, and successfully teleported. But the receiving end on earth reported no signs of the subject whatsoever. So this time the UAC sent a small rover equipped with a camera, and sent it through. The sight that greeted them on the other end was an unholy one to say the least.
