Report a translation problem
There has been some discussion in the general comments on which slot this weapon could potentially go to. While building it, I pictured this weapon as a primary slot weapon, much like the Huntsman (without the slash/stab attacks, just as a throwing weapon) ...but it is clear that many people see the potential in this weapon being a thrown weapon as well as an alt fire melee weapon.
I'd be very happy with the Primordial Pike being just a throwable weapon.
It was discussed that a possible mechanic could be that you can collect the pike after it has been thrown or wait for the recharge. I thought this was very cool, especially if you have pinned a target to a wall much like huntsman arrows!
After what you have said, I'm just about convinced that is the way it should be! Especially the additional bleed damage! I imagine the base damage could be quite high to start with, because it is such a chunky projectile and you may only have one at any given time. That being said, I would hope it would be at least the damage of a huntsman arrow, preferably more (even though it could be a secondary weapon).
Let's hope it keeps getting up votes, and it might get Valve's attention at some stage!

Melee Weapon--
+ On Right Click: Throw the Spear.
+15% Further weapon Reach. (It's a spear, it should have a bit of distance.)
- -20% damage when swung.
- No Random Crits
When thrown;
+ Can Headshot for Critical damage.
- Takes about 10-12 seconds to recharge after being thrown (Can be regained instantly from the supply closet.)
and if you taunt you charge forward with it impaling enemies.
That would be amazing I just wish valve would add new weps instead of ♥♥♥♥ loads of hats cuz srsly this is becoming a hat buying simulator
