Thank you very much for your effort. I think I found a solution, but you're not going to like it.
I changed my game language to RU, and I got the same error as you have. Switched back to EN and it works... I have no idea what kind of voodoo magic works here, I'll keep an eye on this, and if that's something I can fix, I will, but right now I have no clue why would that happen...

Is it normal that certain actions take a long time to apply? For example, when i install an upgrade module to my ship it takes about a minute until it actually is activated and displayed as being installed in the slot. the same thing happens vice versa and also with other actions. It kinda feels like some kind of script lag or something.

Scripts are much heavier than vanilla avorion. But this should not happen.

The only case when I would expect that is when you have a ship from workshop, that has a lot of blocks ( one of these, that displays a warning in build mode ), or a low spec PC.

If you could provide more info on your hardware(CPU, RAM), and wheter it happens to any upgrade on any ship, at any galaxy(even in new game), or only at some specific conditions - that would help a lot to track down and fix, if possible.

It happens right from the start with the starter ship. No additional stuff or ships from workshop and not other mods. I let the game run for a while so it could settle, but that didn't help.

I5-7600K, 16GB RAM, RX590 8GB, SSD

EDIT: I'm going to reinstall the game and perform some cleanup, because I'm running it for quite some time.

Let me know if that helps. You've got an older CPU, but I cannot imagine it being too slow for this. Did you check logs for any errors?

My CPU is a littlle older, yes (at the end of 2017 it was the best I5, but 3 years are a long time for computers..lol). But my PC is well set up and runs all my games (also the new ones) in FullHD with high to highest settings. And for Avorion it's more than enough. Also the CPU is not even close to be overwhelmed by it.

I didn't check the logs. I will when I have time for the next try.

Is anyone having any issues with missionbulletins.lua not running because it cannot initialize the scripts for missions at custom stations? The XAvorion delivery missions are working fine.

error on line 75 of missionbulletins.lua (this is the getWeightedRandomEntry function) "bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got nil) I haven't modified the file and redownloaded a few times just to be sure. Thanks!

That error was fixed some time ago. I've just checked on fresh galaxy - accepting all the missions in a sector, none gave any error. Unless there's a more specific scenario?

I am using XAvorion on our server and I was able to get it to work by comparing the XAvorion missionbulletin.lua and the vanilla server missionbulletin.lua. There were a few lines that were causing it to freeze up. Works great now!

So, this is more of an annoyance, but there are a lot of NPC miners now that clear systems faster than players do.

Some NPC miners are appearing in Player Starter systems, making for a harder times...

Yup, that was it. But if you had to do it manually you're probably at older mod version.

That's what should happen, NPC miners were tweaked down long ago (yeah, it was worse). I'm not sure what you mean by "a lot", it's all random, but NPC miners should annoy often enough to make you consider "loosing" a torpedo once in a while

Thanks for your report. That's one of these mods I'd expect to have issues with Xavorion. Now we know for sure.
