Morghut starts in Nordland, so close to Laurelorn Forest. The idea is to focus him (same way than in the WE campaign) in destroying the Wood Elves.
For a short victory, just Laurelorn is enough. After that, moving south to the other forests should only take 5 turns at much. Hordes have high mobility and these locations are actually closer than Estalia and Couronne. On the long run, moving to Ulthuan gives them a focus en Elves that the other ones do not have and, well, Ultimate victory is meant to be long.
Basically the idea is having four kind of campaigns:
- WotOE: Focus on Empire, long-term focus on Bretonnia
- HoD: Focus on Greenkins, long-term focus on Tomb Kings
- WotS: Focus on Wood Elves, long term focus on High Elves
- ST: Focus on Dark Elves, long term focus on Lizarmen
One of the objectives of the mod is to keep the factions instead of the same race as differentiated as possible. It gives you a lot of replay possibilities.
@Azure Eagle
That last point should also work as an answer to your point. Forcing all of them to focus on Marks of Ruination and the same final battle is excessive. You are also going to accumulate Ruination and possibly fight the Final Battle, it is just not mean to be the focus for everyone.
Some notes about Oxyotl have also been added.
