Elver Update #2
There was a quick patch released after this update that fixed some unexpected quest exploits, sorry for the inconvenience.

[Elver Update #2]
The main focus of the update was making changes to the safezone to prevent abuse and cheeky strats like jumping off, landing on the mall, killing everyone and instantly teleporting out. There is also a new NPC and obviously bug fixes/optimizations. The ID lists and crafting charts have been updated so consult those for new items.

Safezone Changes :
>Moved sky island to be over the Farm
>Teleporters at Mall, Prison and Junction 67 have been removed
>Teleporters now have a 5 second delay and sound
>Added a new NPC that has 3 new questlines and unlockable golden weapons
>Haybales now absorb all fall damage

Additions :
>Added "Rainwright's Prophecy" by staswalle to the radio, check out the original song here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG0547VasNE
>Added the Kot, a buy-only high damage but high recoil automatic rifle
>Added the Deflection, a craftable secondary weapon with a bayonet
>Added a craftable makeshift grenade
>Added an extended version of the Sniper Rifle magazine obtainable only from the deadzone and Golden Kot
>Added craftable Handcuffs and Key
>Added Sandbags
>Added a lot of new quest items

Other Changes :
>Increased range of no build zone to prevent people building right by the city
>Respirator Filter now requires Components instead of the Respirator Mask

Fixes :
>Changed deadzone LODs, it should now be playable on lowest settings
>Fixed the collision on the triangular metal floor
>Mall has been optimized again
>Overrides (elver versions of vanilla items) should now have skins, let me know if I forgot to apply this to certain items
>Hopefully fixed Crystal Triangular Roof which was uncraftable on servers for some reason
>Some other stuff I had on my to-do list and deleted once I fixed it

does the map automatically update on servers or do i need to reinstall it?
cool, this seems more balanced. bummer that safezone camping is probably going to be more boring. BTW Moscas are dirt cheap it would probably be better if their prices were increased so not everyone had one.

The new NPC doesnt work properly, i completed the whole planter questline and it doesnt let me complete the other quest even tho i got all the items for it. Dont really know what to do.

I can understand the need to change/balance Quests, but some warning for those actively engaged in a Quest before a major change would be appreciated. I was 2/3 of the way through the Huntsman 2 Quest. Now that Quest's goal has been replaced with a totally new goal. Instead of 150 zombie kills by the Dorms/Train Station, it's now 500 zombies within 75 meters of my position. Yeah, it may be easier if I go loud and don't die from the lag of all of the player bases, but then again the quest now requires me to kill 400 more zombies when I had 50 to go. That's a pretty steep change in goals with zero notice.

Sorry for this. The huntsman quests have just been all over the place ever since launch. Initially it was a high amount of zombies in the city as it was one navmesh, later the navmesh was split up and i had to split the quest up (as support for multiple navmeshes for zombie quests was not a thing back then). I think that this quest will not be changed ever again as it's in a spot where I'm happy with it and it's not constrained by any unturned limitations. Also, since the quest no longer needs to specify a navmesh, you can easily farm horde beacons for zombie kills if you want to quickly complete them. Once again, really sorry for this.

Unturned has been updated to 3.20.8.1 and the map is still using 3.20.8.0. Can't connect to it.

I'd love to see more use of the Dragonfruit, maybe a cake/pie or some form of baked good?

No complaints now that Matt's quests aren't bugged anymore. Keep up the great work, this map rocks.

EDIT: Is the church going to be used for a potential boss fight?

imo moving the safezone and nerfing the teleporters is terrible, its also now on the literal opposite side of the map from my base making it absolutely garbage to even go to. also why does this map have snow? it's garbage, makes the game unfun for the entire time its snowing, and i literally do not see a point to it.

@danaby2 There's a random street lamp in the middle of the gate on the northern part of Nork, at the shipping bay. Probably need to fix that.

Great, now my skybase is in this area and claimed bedroll doesn't work anymore. Even after flying to it i can't use the base anymore because i can't even plant there...
Never thought about that?
