this is a brand new series . Too much to talk about, just play it and post questions here . I may reply .

Yes, the visibility is dependent merely on tank moving speed.There's a panel for detailed explanations on helicoptors , you will be there if you self destroy your tank.

that is why there's a skill by E(use) , radar . The default is 150m . can be upgraded unlimited.
map size is 800*800 metres , with surrounding rocks ,actual playable area is around 720*720m . And full stop tank can be see like 75m. in like 36km/h, is like 200m . 60km/h like 300m,when took damage, no matter what kind of damage, will got vis distance to 400metre for like 0.1 second, so machine gun sometimes can detect far enemies . And tank tracks is always a bit more visible than other parts. And when use scope, the vis distance will be multiplied by scope time . And the heat wave from tank engine will always be visible, so ,you can exploit it.
The most important thing is radar skill, each time use will cost 125hp, main gun 75hp,machine gun 50hp . Drive into water to recover hp . And the eggs(looting) have a vis distance at 37.5 metre.


Potential issues:
1.The best resolution to play this map is 1920*1080 or below, due to source engine bug ,text size scale will be abnormal in resolution over 1920*1080.(plz fix).And the fishing line scale is also problematic ,only 1920*1080 has the right thickness , below will be too thick.

2.Most of my maps like this one took more resources on network and CPU size but not GPU. So it's better to turn on multi core rendering . If you're playing this map with friend, make sure to let the one with highest FPS host, or simply play on my server, it will be much smoothier than host yourself . If you're a server host and wannt add this map, make sure it's 64tick, 128 tick sucks for my map. If your FPS is low , you may experience no reaction when using radar and machine gun skills, while main gun is ok. You need at least got over 45 FPS anytime to have those 2 skills work properly(E and Space skill). If it's 128 tick server, then you need at least around 90 to make it work, so 128tick doesn't work well for my map. But this issue is not caused by my map design, it's all source engine's mystery .

----------------Update
1.removed fog, the fog made map pale, the recent csgo update created a bug, if fog density max is not 1, underwater detail will not be affected by underwater fog . So I set the fog max density to 1 before but now totally removed this crap.
2.Weather - lightning clouds . Should have some rain effect like in my fishing map, but it's not gonna work in this map cuz the tank camera is far away from player model so the effect is only around player model.By the way, if strike by lighting (<0.005%chance), will get destroyed.
3.more grass. more foliage.flying birds, several breakable structures, but no bonus after broken, just for cover and visual.
4.slightly higher contrast tone. shadow became darker,ambient more bluish.Tree colors modified ,higher saturation .
5.default scope increased from 3X to 3.6X. default radar search range increased from 150m to 170 m.
6.Visibility modified greatly . Now since valve fixed an alpha bug with fading function, I just made the tank has a fading zone . Like total stop . 0-50m, opaque, 50-100m ,gradually fading out . previously is 0-75m,opaque, over 75, disappear . So now the vis range actually increased, but since tank can be transparent like a ghost,and more foliage as cover . So player need to use the environment more than previous version.
7.RadarRangeupgradeskill: Previously, it only increase 64max hp and 30metre radar search range . But now, it also increase enemies vis range. to make enemies tanks easier to get spotted by your team. And this increase is shared by team. So like ct team touched 3 range eggs . All T side tanks will have base vis range increased from 512units to 512+3*64 =704 units. units actually are inches, even if official site treat it as 0.75 inch, and all official models are based on this standard. But since playermodel is 74 inches tall, so.... in my maps I treat 1 unit as 1 inch . And the tanks model are 1/8 scaled, so roughly units/5 is the relative metre . so base 512 unit is like 100metre. tank body length is like 7-8metre. with gun,10m in total. The vis calculation is a scale based on current speed * base vis range.


some extra thoughts: I tried to added a flat and elevated bridge ,so the tank can drive on it smoothly and duel there , and can gain some visibility advantage because the foliage is dense, from highground it can see clearer . But it made the lake looks strange . So I didn't do that. Afterall this is my first map of this very new idea , this is the smallest map I have ever created. It's 4096*4096 units. As Comparation: Boat race Alpha is 24576*24576units . 36X in area of this map. But this smallest map has became my favorite.
And at the beginning I actually have this map as a 8v8 game, I actually put 16 tanks inside, and the entities limits is still healthy , but when I actually run it, seems it put too much heavy load on CPU and network side, other things are fine. make the game a bit stutter . So have to cut it to 12 tanks. And if someone put this map in server, always use 64tick server, 128 tick's high sync rate doesn't work well on my maps.

changes:
1.finally readded fog.
2.small environmental light tone change. color change . surrounding cliffs got more saturated.
3.the lights on tanks for radar skill have different colors same as tank colors.
4.Use any skill(fire,machine gun,radar) will not reduce HP if the hp has been lower than the reduction . However , the amount is still same. So skill using will not suicide tank but still will make your tank's hp to double digits.

Extra thought:
1.adding some campfire fires with flame damage for both visual and quick suicide for true player form(though can still do that by drowning in water)????????
2.I'm thinking if it's good to make true form player also has zone capture ability .??????????

1.Yes,changed that player true form can also capture zone
2.there's a wood bridge that hold helicopters.
3.after winning, there's a helicopter animation.
4.More guns on bridges. Can walk onto the bridge from side door of heli.
5. fixed radar skill minor issue.
