How to use this mod in 2025

Here is precisely how to get this mod to work in 2025, based on Basti's comment from 2022.

Download and install the latest Elder Kings Mod for CK2. The correct mod will be listed in the CK2 launcher as "Elder Kings 26-09-2020." The instructions should be on the PDX forums.
Subscribe to the "Rise to Power - Elder Kings Patch" mod here on steam.
When both are installed, go to the "rtp-ek_patch.mod" file, located at {C:\Users\[USER]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod} for windows users. Open it with notepad or any such text editor.
You will find 5 headings: name, archive, dependencies, tags, and picture. On the "dependencies" header, change it so that the dependencies look like this:

dependencies= { "Elder Kings - Dev" "Elder Kings" "Elder Kings Dev" "EKSVN" "Elder Kings 26-09-2020" }
Save the changes, and enjoy the mod.

I can confirm that this works with the latest version of CK2 (3.3.5.1). There are a couple of bugs, but it works.
