I was able to tame a doed baby with no issues since they don't seem to flee. When it comes to other mammal babies its a different story. I've been trying to tame a saber for some time now. I have a full set of ghillie and when I crouch and sneak up behind it, about 10-20ft away it just runs. I even tried shooting prime bait near it with the other taming mod that was suggested but it ignored this.
