Coir Fiber and Eaten Cocodrupe?

Love the mod, but have run into a wall crafting tier 3 saddles since coir fiber is needed. I've searched area where mesopithecus (little monkey) spawn. I've tamed one and set it on wander. Can't find any eaten cocdurpes to plant for fiber. Any help?

They are in nests. I usually get my initial ones from Icthyornis nests on the beach.
