What's too good? What needs to be tweaked? REMOVE SANGUINE LIGHTNING!

Haha tell us what you think about Iroh from a balance stand point. We want to know.

his new up b seems to just not connect most of the time. idk if this is intentional, but it kinda sucks landing an f-smash at 100+, getting the up b, and being in disadvantage for it.

Oh man that sucks! I didn't change the hitbox. Do you know what exactly feels different? It should work the same as always.

This is what the first hitbox looks like. If you continue to have issues please tell me.

I've dabbled in this character a lot, and I like him a lot. He's really fun and feels pretty well designed all around, nothing I have distinct complains about, and playing against him with other people they don't think anything is too stupid (he has really good things, but nothing like, overwhelmingly strong that makes him busted). He's got some stuff he struggles against for sure, but I feel like his speed and overall kit helps him deal with it pretty well. He's really strong, but I don't think he's broken too strong. I haven't really struggled against most characters when I play Iroh, but of course it's never super easy and having to find the time/space to activate the install is a fun playstyle, stuff like that.

Part of me feels like his side special in the air not putting him into freefall *may* be too good, but I'm not totally sure how you guys wanted to design him (perhaps keeping the side special like Fox/Falco side specials in Smash) but that move is really good for what it does and the distance it goes. While he does need something to recover for sure, I still feel like the fact that it doesn't put him into freefall in the air might be too good? On hit it should let you keep your state so you can combo, but if you whiff such a powerful move in a combo, I think it'd be alright to let the opponent get some space on Iroh. Might just be me, though, and honestly he might need it for recovery anyway (though making him weaker in disadv would be a fine weakness, trading off how good he is in advantage with crazy combos)

I don't necessarily think that it's broken or overpowered, but part of me thinks it might be a smidge too good. Maybe consider changing it, just to make him a little more rounded all around. Everything else is great, it's just that one thing I'm like "hmm, maybe that's a bit too strong." I honestly could be wrong about all of this and it's probably fine given what the character does, but I dunno, felt like bringing it up anyways out of curiosity's sake.

tl;dr Air side-special is maybe too good to not put him in a freefall state. On hit he should be able to combo afterwards, but whiff in the air should put in freefall. Might round him out a little more.

i discovered Uncle Iroh earlier today and i absolutely love him. so far my only real complaint is a major lack of knockback on the second part of NSpecial, especially considering the fact that it's specifically labeled as a kill move in the description. Foes would consistently DI and survive at 200% when i was messing around with him against CPUs.

Okay so, I really like this boy, BUT I must ask if it is intentional that the third hit of his jab is suppose to be able to be rolled out of? I was getting unmentionables pushed in by my brother as he was playing Orcane. Me, not having a lot of time invested in Iroh yet was bound to fail.

So later I put myself against a lvl 9 Orcane CPU and one thing i noticed was Orcane was able to roll out before the 3rd hit of jab consistently.

I don't know much about balance but it seems like i should be able to land that. I am noob with Iroh, but I was only ever to kill with a lucky side-b, up-smash, d-air combo, or the empowered down-b. Without that third hit of jab connecting, I got the Orcane to like ~220% before I managed to kill them. Still, I have learned a little more about the character since, but the jab thing really hurts.

Love the character and I'd really hope to see the best version of him! Thank you for your time and thank you for making this awesome character! Fav Workshop Char!!

I really like what you have going on with Iroh but his side special is way too overpowered. Being able to combo angled up side special into its self makes for an easy 0 to death combo when followed up with up special and up air. This combo works on all base game stages and doesn't even need the up air on stages with smaller ceilings.
