Player 4 Hints & Victory Conditions
Player 4: Palmyrene Empire (Byzantines)
Important Heroes: Empress Zenobia
- At the start of the game, you march on Egypt and will face against the might of Aurelian's Empire, bring Empress Zenobia, your hero, into the city of Alexandria [P5's City] with 20 military units after 4 minutes to make Egypt [P5] your vassal.
- Upon vassalising Egypt, they will be force allied to you and will win when you complete all of your victory conditions.
- If Egypt is your vassal, bring Zenobia into their capital to raise a legion there every 10 minutes.
- Vassalise Egypt to get 1000f every 10 minutes.
- If you don't vassalise Egypt you will get 1000f and 750g every 5 minutes.
- You can get Auxiliary Camps, which are spread around the map, by placing an Outpost next to them, you will get one auxiliary every 1 minute, up to 15 Auxiliaries of that type.
- Crisis of the Third Century: Your Legionaries are poorly trained resulting in a penalty of -1 armour on the Legionary unit.
- Crisis of the Third Century: Remove it by conquering/vassalising Egypt, conquering Ancyra and killing 200 units.
- You can recruit Palmyrene Cohors and Armoured Swordsmen from the unit shop in the western corner of the map.
- You can buy German Mercenaries from the Alemanni [P8] and the Gothi [P7] at your Mercenary Camp by placing your Emperor on the rock area with a flag, check the tent name for the price of the units.
- As long as you control Palmyra, you will receive Palace Guards (Max 10) every 2 minutes.
- Bring 25 military units inside the walls of Rome whilst there are less than 10 Aurelian and Gallic units to seize control of the city (repeatable).
- Crown Zenobia as the first Empress of Rome to inspire your men by bringing her to Rome's Town Centre while you control it.
- Negotiate a temporary alliance with the Sassanid Empire (P6) by meeting Zenobia with Shapur at the 2x2 torched area north of Antioch. You will receive some troops and a 10 minute forced-peace with P6. If P2 has already completed this quest, you will not be able to.

Player 4 - Palmyrene Empire - Byzantines

- Have Zenobia as Empress and Alive.
- Kill Aurelian/Diocletian/Probus, whichever is the current Roman Emperor.
- Kill Postumus/Victorinus/Tetricus, whichever is the current Gallic Emperor.
- Conquer Rome.
- Keep Palmyra.
