Resource Overhaul
Resources
Moved some resources around based mostly on historical documentation and to make them accessible for trade (on port cities!)
Many resources in Vanilla are untradeable because they are located in a region without a port or multiple connections to other factions.
My second priority was to have at least one resource per province and two if there's is a major city nearby
Thirdly, the resources of German 4-slot regions were moved to the 6-slot regions given that the 4 slots are needed to have a basic-functioning faction.
Salt to Gothiscandza (Rugi)
Furs to Ireland (Sealskin would be better in Hibernes, but they lack a port)
Iron to Cappodocia (nice back up province for ERE plus backed by history)
Iron to Dalmatia and Dardania (Illyria was major source for Rome's iron)
Wood to Sarmatia (no resources)
Salt to Gothiscanda (infertile area and the burgundians needed the slot)
Wood to Ajax (best region for military port)
Wood to Crete (ERE used Crete for their ship-building. Best region for ERE mil port)
Wood to the Geats (no resource-region. Let us see those navies!)
Lead to Raeti, replacing wood that now getting from Ajax
Wood to Scythia-Sarai (Currently burned down)
One could try to scatter copper around the map as well, but this might cause problems that time does not allow.
Iron Region in adjacent Media Atropante replacing Silk can help the Sassanids
Lead and Marble to Bithynia
Wine moved to Asia Cyzicus
Salt replacing Iron for Romula (Gepids)
Gold added to Petrodova as was widely documented in history
Silk removed from ERE! but it is still available nearby from
Silk: Greuthingi and Abasgia (no prior resources)
Salt to Lazica
Lead to Afrighids (no prior resources)
Gems to Abushakr to allow Sass to build Goldsmith (they get sacked early though)
There might be a few others.

This is ongoing.
If someone knows how to add the copper or cloth resource from CHA into the map, I can help with that. The thought is the industry buildings can produce the resource at level 2 or 3.

Is there a particular load order for the resources to show? I'm using the fertility edition of this mod and playing as the Ebdanians. Based on what I am seeing above, there should be a fur resource which I do not see.

The furs are there. They are more toward the fringes of the map with a few exceptions. Make sure you don't have another mod active with a startpos.
I found this mod, Pigs, Slums & Palaces, to be the culprit. It doesn't mention startpos in the description but I assume if your adding buildings to the campaign then it needs to be a startpos. Thanks for the reply and work.

I am not sure that mod is a problem. My Pack File Manager things there are errors in that mod but the mod has novel features. He doesn't alter the startpos so that's not the source of the issue. If you are using Athanasios Ultimate Overhaul that will definitely cause the conflict. This mod is a startpos mod so any other startpos mod might interfere. Try my lite version of his mod if you are use Athanasios Ultimate.

I've also noticed that one of Dresdon's - Turns Per Year Mods is a startpos as well. I enjoy having my faction leaders and such around a little longer. Would you be so kind as to point out where I need to go to change the turns per year from 4 to 8? I assume it's not so easy as changing a 4 to an 8 somewhere. I was looking at the tables of a 12 TPY in PFM and thought about duplicating that but am uncertain. Also would that be done using ESF Editor or PFM? My modding experience is limited to editing OP units via PackFile Manager.
No I am not using Athanasios. I was just using process of elimination and unchecked that one and it solved the problem. It was also at the bottom of the load order.

12TPY requires a startpos. A simple 12TPY startpos won't necessarily conflict with this one. Dresden has a more expansive startpos overhaul though. You can also expand the lifespan 10 or so years in campaign variables without a startpos.
