Bug Reports
Software development has bugs. Games have bugs, and since mods derive from games, mods will have bugs too. But if people start writing 'I got Bugs' in the comments section, I will have nothing to get on to simply because they aren't very helpful to get to the cause of the issue. Send Bug Reports here please only after you have read the Limitations and FAQ thread.


Please provide plenty of detail about your issue, namely:

1) Your Ethics/Civics/Authority/Build, which empire type (Ascended Empire, Lost Empire, Default) were you when you encountered the issue.

2) What are the issues you experienced specifically and how can it be reproduced?

3) What other mods are you using? Please provide details.

4) Save game?


Commonly Reported Issues:

  • The only known case of crash currently is if you try to use ZoFE 3.0 with the Fallen Empire Ship start submod from 2.0. Do not use ZoFE 2.0 submods with ZoFE 3.0. There's a reason I haven't created a mod collection list with ZoFE 3.0 yet.

  • There are also a couple of fringe cases of Starbase redesign event crashing for some people who use 70+ mods.

Hi it's me again lol,
Empire type: ascended empire
civics:distinguished admiralty, Diplomatic corps, Byzantine Bureaucracy, Feudal Soceity
ethics: fanatic xenophobe,militarist
origin:Prosperuos Unification
starter shipset avian

I got a bug where the city doesn't change to the fallen empire city (the ships change) and I never got the FE ships the cruiser battlecruiser goliath etc, I speed ran through the game with cheats to test if it happens in all of my games | The mod list and the load order (it might be a mess so if it is sorry about that, altough your mod should overwrite everything I belive):

Hi, can you confirm that you have (or have not) completed 'The Question of Style' Project, and if you have, which option did you pick? Cities should change when you see ship changes.

I have completed The question of style project and picked the xenophobe shipset I believe (the red and black one)

i am unsure if i needed to give that info seeing as the issue seems unrelated to these factors, but i did anyhow since the previous guy did so. when i became an Ascended Empire, suddenly i got a bunch of diplo spam where it kept notifying me i had a casus belli on everyone, immediately having it be retracted a tick later, rinse and repeat. i can provide a list of my mods if this is needed.

i attempted the fix i detailed in the comments section, but that does not seem to have worked.

so, here's my modlist in json form (Paradoxos Mod Manager, it was the easiest for me)

Lol that's a very long list of mods. As a temporarily solution, have you tried to put ZoFE as #1 in the loading list?

Not sure if it's a bug or intended design, but currently I cannot choose Fanatical Roboteers or Utopian Union civics, as it cannot be added or removed after game start. Not sure if you're meant to get it when you complete all the special projects and can choose between being fanatical ethic or staying true to your old ethics, if that's the case it didn't work for me.

Dang. Forgot to remove modification = no. Will be fixed in the patch today.

hey @Kolyn, shouldnt the fallen titan ship count towards the titan ship limit? i'm using old save from beta, but idk if thats the case

They're not actually the same ship class, nor do they have comparable weapon slots. Stat wise they are also very different and so operate on a different limit.
I played as a machine empire, upon ascencion i lost access to gigastructural engineering's behemoth planetcrafts.

1. Machine Empire + Unofficial Machine Empire DLC civics + overpowered civics
2. I cant build/ change the behemoth craft anymore as soon as i switch over to the ascended shipset, the all templetes transfer normally, except for the behemothcraft

Ascended Hive Mind with Ascetic, One Mind, and Empath

After terraforming to Hive Worlds, suddenly many planets had dozens of hedonists. I did get access to the Rejuvenate edict. I got the Hive World option from your mod.

Mods are:

Empire University, Dynamic Difficulty, Guilli's Planet Modifiers, and Automatic Pop Migration
