Hello Kolyn, recently I have installed the 3.0, in the game at the empire creator, my game crashed when I clicked on "Ship Appearence" it is a problem of installation or about the others mods of The Zenith of Fallen Empires ? (Like Look Ship Start, Ship Name etc..)

I noticed that new Original People shipset in there. ;) It's even better than the old one. I love it.

The only known crash case currently is if you're trying to run ZoFE 3.0 with a ZoFE 2.0 submod, Fallen Empire Ship Start

I'd like to start a thread on the fe building economy mechanics if possible. Also is there a sky dome building option, I've yet to see it in my playthough.

I really like the dark matter lab - dimensional fabricator synergy, works great. 3 building slots: 1 dark matter lab and two fabricators produce a net of 1 dark energy, 200 minerals and 4 of the rare materials which is fantastic and an improvement to vanilla fabricator.

Here is an idea: a special project that can unlock the secrets of the master archive. Have ascended empires be able to only replicate one archive on their empire capitol, then have a special project that unleashes its full potential so that it becomes an uber nexus with some rediculous amount of raw research output and a % boost to all research. (and have it only need master archivists like vanila building instead of any special resources). :)

Also regarding the whole hedonism thing - I'm seeing other ascended empires have that an issue barely 20 years after ascending. If anything hedonism shouldn't be an issue until hundreds, if not thousands of years after which point hedonists and cultists would appear and drive an ascendancy into a dark age. I feel the focus of Zenith should be on the military, economic, and aesthetic might of an ascendancy and keep that squarely in the focus.

Is Utopia fully needed for the features to appear? I ran the game and found no FE ship sets, perks, or city's .

You can safely run this mod without Utopia. But I am concerned that you cannot see the Perk 'Galactic Ascendancy'. Please check again.

You have a point, although an empire shouldn't be able to Ascend in 100-200 years after achieving spaceflight anyway, so the timescale of this is already reduced. No one would play a Stellaris game for 1000 years. Also in real life, how many generations does it take to change a hard-working generation, to one that is less hard-working?

I'm really enjoying my first ascension palythrough. It is year 2438 right now, and I'm on track for a victory in 12 years.

The run is pretty clean with the hedonists gone and all megastructures built. I have seven fleets of fe ships, each at above 700k power when at full strength, a juggernaut and colossus, my hivemind's dominant status in the galaxy is well in hand, and is truly at it's Zenith! :)

I've read over the change notes and appreciate the fixes.

However I have a philosophical issue with the hedonism and FE building mechanics, which would like to cover in a couple of posts:

As pertains to hedonism: race and ethos should play a huge factor in the number of hedonists that appear, when, and if at all. Obviously biological races are the most susceptible, followed by synthetics (how closely is up to the programming, literally**). Ethically speaking egalitarian, democratic, and authoritarian societies should be more resilient to hedonism, while slaver and capitalist ones (read mega corp) should be far more susceptible, while also having the means to justify and satisfy that hedonism (slavery and trade).

Factoring these issues into the economic and political mechanics of hedonism would make for some really interesting scripts and game play. For example, for every count of x slaves or volumes of trade units, y hedonists manifest themselves on the planets where those slave exist and trade is taking place, having economic and political repercussions.
