ISL - Callisto-IO 548b Automated Cargo Drone
Custom ship / rover / trailer request
The ships:
Cargo shuttles would be an altered version of the drones.
Passenger shuttles would have a door at rear and a control seat/cockpit with windows.
Scouts are similar but no cargo as instead they only have antenna, ore detector, o2/h2 tanks.
Fighters would be like drones but only with 1 medium cargo and conveyors to weapons.
Tool ships (grinders, welders, miners) would be like drones or fighters just replace weapons.

The Rovers:
I would ask that the rovers be of 2 types:
1st is 4x4 smaller setup (scout, cargo, passenger, tool, combat) and able to pull trailers.

2nd is 6x6 (like a big truck with 2x axles on rear and 1 at front) with passenger area and built to be able to pull a trailer (truck will have 1 connector for recharging and cargo but have at most 1 medium cargo and possibly 1 or 2 gattling turrets). This truck will have 1 door on each side and the control seat/cockpit with windows will be accessed from inside along with passenger seats (max of 8). o2/h2 tanks should be included (power/air).

The Trailers:
For the trailers there would be 2 types.
1st is small bumper pull type that uses 2 hinge (1 horiz 1 vert) and 1 rotor (roll).
These trailers would be 1 for each thing except passenger transport.

2nd is 5th wheel type (think frostbite hook up but different by use of 1 hinge (vert) at front with 2 rotors (1 roll, 1 horiz).
These trailers will be 1 for each thing except passenger transport.

I just seen the massive list of stuff in the "shipyard".

Most of your "shuttles" I would call fighters.

Tool ships I personally think should only have 1 type of tool unless they are labeled as "construction" then It would have both a grinder and welder.

For the "rovers" you have medium and light but no passenger units. Can we also get heavy units with larger trailers to match them?

Last question ... Why all of the merge blocks not being removed? (like on the drones). I ask because every time you attach then detach a merge block the grid name changes as it becomes a new grid (SE limit?).

For the trailer hitches if you add 1 small battery (and 1 small reactor) then you can use a connector instead and this will keep all grids separate. (trailer side faces forward or up while truck side faces back or down unless using a 5th wheel type then trailer side faces down and truck side faces up (unless the "hitch" stays on truck then they are truck facing back and trailer facing front)

I just don't like having to rename the "grid" every time I disconnect a hinge, rotor, or merge block.

It looks like most of the things in your request are on my to do list anyway, although I'm not sure we would have the same classifications.

For fighters, have you taken a look at the Lania I released this week?

Since the fleet update comes with new printers, I will be trying to alternate the designs between fighters, miners, rovers, etc. to make the new printer worth building over the old one.

As for the merge blocks not being removed, the older designs have them build into the ship, but for the newer ones, I've labelled them as red "temporary" blocks to be ground off after printing, since they won't be needed.

On your drones (older design) I was thinking that the merge block could be replaced with either a battery, thruster, or connector. Then the "red blocks" can be added on top of that while keeping the length of the ship close to the same if not shorter (depending on the design alteration).
