The M1911 becomes the Alyxgun so there basically is, it's just the weapon upgrades are separate models.

Yes there is. Do your research. The fully upgraded pistol is the alyxgun. I've played it.

well there is some half life alyx mods the pistol replaces the normal pistol theres a half life alyx shotgun

the pistol isn't a good addon though, honestly. But yes, the shotgun is great. Broken in VR though.

Alyx gun is alyxs gun in my opinion
