5-10 fps
I have 5-10 fps with a 4gb GTX 1050ti. It doesn't really make a difference if I lower the graphics settings so I'm confused. My brother got 60-80fps with a GTX 1060 6gb; I'm about to try out another GTX 1060 6gb so I'll update this then; and any help is appreciated.

Update: I put a GTX 1060 6GB in my computer, downloaded the latest drivers, and it's still 5-10fps.

i have rx 580 and im getting the same fps as gm_construct (around 280fps)

Garry's Mod is not a graphics intensive game, it does not matter if you have a good or bad graphics card, it goes off of your processor, if you have a bad or old processor it will run less, it has nothing to do with your graphics card.

Since people are still talking about this, I will make a suggestion. Please unsub from all of the addons that you are subscribed to, that is one reason why you are having low FPS.

What CPU and how much RAM do you have?, i have an RX 570 which is slightly worse than the GTX 1060 and i got 60-120FPS.

I have an Intel I5 3570 3.4GHz and 16GB of ram.

I do have some of those errors, but it says stuff like "Font not found" and I don't know what's causing it.

verify steam cache and/or remove ur addons (if any) if not get the fps booster in the gmod workshop. Its great honestly, I have an RX 5700 XT with R5 2600. without the fps booster i get around 90 fps anywhere, With the fps booster i get like 270fps, and the graphics are the same. Try that out

Do you have customizable weaponry installed? that mod is laggy asf even if you dont use it.

I have one of those mods, but it's needed for a server I like to go on. Hopefully I can figure it out.

The FPS (Frames Per Second) You get is dependant on how many mods you have if you have like 100-150 it should run pretty good but if you go to the 450ish range then you will see the frame drops

Need good CPU/GPU. Use afterburner to check for which is your bottleneck. Could be the map but when I switched from FX8120 with a 1070 to 9900k and 2080 Super I would go from 15fps to 50fps on my maps.

Do you have any weather mods enabled such as StormFox? Because if so it can really impact FPS on maps that don't support the weather mod.
