maybe equiping this should allow the user to film replays on any server

good idea but then that requires a whole other contract to signed by valve and costomers preventing fines if the replays conain a virus and allowing valve to download files onto your divice. ect. ect.
I think it would just be easier to have it saved to the steam cloud and acsessable from there
