Getting Ideology relics with the Maynard storyteller

So I've been playing a little while and have been loving it so far but I've just realised that I haven't had a single relic quest pop up.

Does anyone know if the quests are disabled with the Maynard storyteller and if so if there's a way to re-enable them?
