Update:
Nerfed Combat Disengage Chance to 0. (They are meant to be expendables anyway. Careful not to leave your high level admiral on a low drone swarm, he/she/it might instantly killed)
Reduced HP from 1500 to 1200 (Nerf)
Reduce build time from 20 to 17 (Buff)
Reduce prices on components (Buff)
increased ship piracy suppression from 3 to 5. (Buff)

Addition:
Added 2nd type of hull. Torpedo Hull. (1x Small gun, 1x Missile Slot, -1 aux slot compared to default)
2nd hull is a bit pricy compared to default one so building a lot of it might take a toll on your alloys.
(A 50 default, full upgraded swarm cost about 7-9k alloys before, but right now it should cost about -1k less due to the price rebalance, a 50 Torpedo hull one might cost about that price, still.)

Other note: stellaris just change their maximum crisis strength from x5 to x25, if you need to build your fleet and need to stall the crisis from invading you fast, you can use this swam to hold them off for a bit, the evasion of the swarm should be enough to give you small time, so make it count! :D
