No-- it's because deinonychus is a child class of raptors. Shiny supports child classes so that modded dinos can be Shiny. There's also a chance that any dino with an X- or Aberrant version has a chance to be that version. What's happening with the Deinons is they're being turned Aberrant or X- since that's an option for them-- but since there are no Aberrant or X-Deinonychus, they get turned to their parent type, which is a raptor. You'll see it a lot if you're routinely shooting Deinons with the Shiny guns, but it will be next to invisible in play.
