Regarding Eggs.
So, Shiny creatures seems quite frankly, mildly brilliant. But I've a question in regard to egg reliant tames. If you get a shiny Magmasaur, lets say 180, bright pink, and with the frozen effect for good measure. The Magmasaur lays an egg, the baby will be 180, 30 levels above 150, bright pink, but it cannot transfer the shiny special ability to the egg.

This is to my current understanding of the mod, and I'm not sure if there is a way to alleviate this issue.

My solution with my deinonychus was to kill the wild one with the ability I wanted after using a charged shiny prod on it, giving me the essence of the shiny wild deinonychus :3.

Pretty content with that, since it means I can use it on a mutated one I bred too as far as I know. I haven't yet, since I started a different playthrough for now, but that's the plan XD.

Pretty much as Hollowstyx said, you need to find another Magmasaur with the Frozen property, and hit it with a Charged Shiny Prod, then kill it. you will get a Shiny Essence you can use to give it to a Magmasaur that you have tamed.

I am not sure this will work with things like the abilities that affect Stats though, or the Enraged, for obvious reason.
