Game crashes for no obvious reason with stairs v2.0a
hi,
I seem to have a bug related to the the stairs mod v2.0al. It suddenly started to crash without any obvious reason (no updates or mods installed). but it happens consistently after every other cycle and it crashes the exact moment again after reload (no clicking or anything involved).
I also checked for updates and have the updater mod installed.

It seems like you have a corrupted save file. One building already destroyed still exists in the game , but the destruction task never finished , and the game don't know what to do with these so it crashed. I don't think this crash relate to any mod. It happens mostly when the game autosave at wrong moment.
The general solution is play from a previous save that doesn't crash.
Otherwise you need find out which building is causing the crash and cancel the destruction task also completely remove it or any thing related.

Thanks a lot for your help. I found the deconstruction errand for a building which causes the crash. The reason it is related to your mod is because the dups cannot reach the building without the stairs...
Do you by any chance know an easy way to fix that without going back to a previous save? It's the only building of that type on my map so maybe by deleting some lines in a save file?

Never tried to fix one, but you can remove any building by using Debug Mode[oxygennotincluded.fandom.com].
If the building is invisible just destroy everything in those tiles.

I tried the debug mode but the game crashes as well when i click it with the deconstruction tool.
But never mind...I go back to an older save now. Thanks again for pointing me to that errand..i might not have found the cause without your stairs :)
