I get it. Thats the same feeling as playing some multiplayer maps alone. The environment is clearly meant to be populated but it isnt and your brain auto-fills that with a feeling of unease.

i only play this in multiplayer, so i dont feel it.

Download glue library for awesome npc (legit1!1!!)

get a mod called "background npcs" to make it less scary
