I encountered a bug after switching computers and trying to get several OC's back from save files, since the Prepare Carefully files did not sync. I have lost access to the originals on a dead fish HDD.

I decided to try to save all the pawns in Character Editor, to have them at least, since I didn't have them in Prepare Carefully format and have yet to finish a program to extract them. I picked a save I knew had a lot of them and started manually triggering Reunion events, with a procedure as follows:
1. Trigger Reunion event.
2. If it's a Downed Pawn or Captured Pawn event, send a team with cheated-in marine armor and assault rifles to get them. Manually EMP all turrets. None of this was done for gameplay, just for getting my characters back.
3. Save the pawn immediately in Character Editor, arm them, and repeat.

It was all going extremely well until I hit the 'trigger Reunion event' thingy and it simply... didn't. It closed the dev tools window but did nothing. I tried several times, then triggered the 'list Reunion pawns', and nothing printed in the log. When I had triggered that originally the pawns that were now missing were in the list, but now the list was empty.

One of the pawns that had been in the list and was a brother of a rescued pawn showed in her family list in Character Editor. I can't seem to find him in the list now, but it isn't impossible that he's in the world pawns, I just overlooked him, and he got shoved into those somehow - however upon reloading the save, he is gone from both his sister's and wife's relations tabs in Character Editor.

I can send the save file, but I'd prefer to do it over Discord or a PM because I don't want the save file downloadable by just anyone.

I have other save files that may contain those characters, but I am now wary to enter them and do the same thing lest I lose characters, and especially those that are not in any other save files.
