Why Launching The Sub-Mod Requires Extra Effort
I decided to post this forum post in an attempt to have a central place where people can see why I have decided to have the sub-mod launch the way it does. The reason is that the Remake Devs do not want their entire mod to be reuploaded in it’s entirety, this means I am only allowed to upload the files I have personally added/modified, you CANNOT start a mod only with a few modified files, you need the entire thing, so unless I wanna seriously go against the Remake mod’s devs and ruin my relationship with them (which is something I am unwilling to do) the process will stay as is.

I understand to some this may be seen as an inconvenience or it may seem to be a difficult task to install the mod, but it isn’t any more difficult than how mod installing used to be before Steam Workshop, so I urge you all if you are having issues with the Workshop version, download the ModDB version as it’s an easier place to find the files. Even though I believe that ModDB is an easier process I will continue to support both spectrums of the mod.

I hope this explanation helps those who wonder why things are the way they are, figure out the reasoning behind it.

Try to reason with remake devs, or add factions with a campaign to their version of a mod, and make one bigger mod, not seperate entities
