The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

[AB+|Rep(+)] MiniMAPI: A Minimap API
Saving presets?
Is there a way to save my settings at all? I have to redo everything after I restart for some reason

The settings should be saved whenever you exit a game. Either by finishing a run, restarting a run, or exiting a run to the main menu.
I recommend to use Mod config menu - pure to edit the settings ingame, as its very convenient

I've been using it, but it never saves. Restarting a run or exiting resets it. Also restarting the game itself doesn't fix it.

thats very weird. The settings should be saved by the game regardless. On Repentance / Repentance+, mod save data is stored in the following folder:
...\Steam\steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\data

Does the folder for minimapi in the folder aboth contain files called "save1.dat"? and does saving settings for other mods (for example EID) work for you?
Do you see any error messages in the debug console? See here on how to open it: https://bindingofisaacrebirth.wiki.gg/wiki/Debug_Console

Yes the data file is there, other mods including eid work and save fine, and no errors in the console.

then i dont know. maybe delete the data file for minimap api, and see if that fixes the issue? otherwise, the .dat file is just a json file, which you can edit manually with any text editor
