Clearing cache and verifying game files worked for me when I had the same problem

temp fix that i have found to work for my system.

Unsubscribe from MEE -> Validate Game files -> Launch squad (don't tab/touch anything) -> load the game fully before going to server browser -> find server and click 'Join Server' -> system will tell you that files are missing -> approve download -> let mod download then join server -> play

I have been doing this for the last several days and this has been getting me into servers with a 90% success rate. If anyone else has any temp fixes post them up

From @[GC] Dustiercorn to @everyone INFINITE RUNNING MAN / LOADING SCREEN ISSUE

While the fixes provided by our standard infinite loading screen issues work for many, this process is a more robust guide to fixing the "infinite running man" or infinite loading screen error.
1) Disconnect/Reconnect
2) Relaunch Squad (don't Alt+Tab and try playing on Borderless or Windowed). If this still fails, send us a log (Step X), then continue to Step 3.
3) Clear Cache Data
In Squad’s Main Menu -> Settings -> Bottom Of Screen
4) Clear Download Cache
In Steam Client -> Steam Top Left -> Settings -> Downloads -> Clear Cache
5) [Developing issue] Currently, it seems some mods are conflicting one another:
Uninstall any unwanted or unnecessary mods and verify files
6) If you still have this issue please send us a 2nd log (Step X)!
7) 2nd Clear Cache Data
8) Restart PC
Worst case scenario:
9) Uninstall and Reinstall Mods
10) Uninstall and Reinstall Squad

Step X - Sending logs (DM @[GC] Dustiercorn ):
Go to your C drive -> User -> (PC/Account Name) -> AppData (Might need to view hidden items, can be done under view tab and click on the square box) -> Local -> SquadGame -> Saved -> Logs -> Newest Squad Game Text document

[NOTE] As always with reinstalls, we suggest verifying files and sometimes might need to repeat clearing cache again for a 3rd time
If you play MEE and/or GC and have this issue we especially want your logs as we wanna continue looking into the issue

Yup I keep getting the same thing too. I can sometimes get in the servers but it's pretty rare. Really needs a patch to deal with server load.

Mod wont load. Subscribed but wont download.

sadly i dont see many server with this mod and most of them are in china with 300 pings
anyone got the same problem?

i did everything (also reinstalled all the game ) but since 2 days ago 05/07 i have the man running forever ...

Is the only fix for the loading screen bug is having the game on a SSD?

I was told to unsub from the mod on the workshop and let the game download it when I joined the server again. I told them that it was a 12gb download, they said no it wasn't. So I did, and now I'm stuck at a 12gb download again.

Why is this a thing

mod is 13Gb , you need to install it directly from the steam workshop page , and be sure to have enough space on your SSD. I will need a least twice the amount of free space for the installation.

This should not be a problem, many of the players have this issue at this time. Same to me, and what i do too fix the issue, i go to workshop, unsubscribe from the MOD, and start squad, from there its going fine to join, but if i leave the server when im done playing i got the same issue again over and over. And this is a MOD issue, its not our ISSUE. So tell me, why should we do this everytime to play this MOD? its not a game bug, its not a developer bug, its a MOD issue, and they should fix this ASAP.

Do you run Squad on a SSD or a HDD ?
