Think I found the issue... there was residual stuff in the custom data field of the PB... deleted and recompiled and the error went away... now I know

Which part of the script did you delete to fix? having the exact same issue here.

I didn't delete anything in the script.
I was using a programmable block that I found on another rover. There was some leftover stuff in the custom data field of the Programmable Block. Once I deleted that and recompiled, worked fine.
