I see that, but it doesn't look right when there is an odd longness to one side of the hilt as well as the weird blade tip being cut at 2 different points

Never seen a normal 2-hander before like a claymore or zweihander? The details on this make it lean towards one side of the blade to use, which doesn't look normal compared to the rest of the blade

Glad you aren't changing it, it looks rad like this, even though I don't usually use heavy blades this could make me start to use them :P

the only thing bothering me about that is the clipping in the thumbnail.

There are asymmetrical big swords. Grosse Messer comes to mind. This design is fantastic, imo.

And please, come on, do you find the paracesis ugly? I mean : It's my favorite sword and I like to leave it its own aspect, and it's not symmetrical. Please just immagine this blade symmetrical, it'd be ugly imo xD
