AAAAH
ALL OF CHINA WILL ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RAPE YOU INCLUDING KLORINE GOROGEYO
- A flamethrower unit, maybe for the Song, just because it fits the theme of Chinese engineering and technology. Might not be abundantly useful but would be cool. I'd suggest making it purchasable rather than spawning, so that players don't have to make them if they don't want to
- Name for Tibetan unique unit. It doesn't make much sense to call them Arambai, since Arambai is the name of a dart used by the Manipur and is also a traditional Burmese sport. Perhaps 'Mountaineer Cavalry', or 'Khampa' after the warriors of the Kham region of Tibet
- A conversion-related quest for Tibet to further emphasize their use of monks. Perhaps for example, 'Convert 25 units to gain 15 Warrior Monks' or something like that. Warrior Monks could be represented by Eagle Warriors maybe. Of course don't make them game changing, just a bit of a side detail
- Please do make Mongols stronger. In response to this I preempt that you or Nox is about to tell me that they're already strong and 'git gud skrub'. I don't believe you.
EDIT: No matter, I just remember that this map doesn't use expansions so that kind of makes these invalid. May I ask why you decided not to use expansions?
I will rename those unique units to Khampa. However, it depends on if you are playing with expansions or not. Thus Burmese might not be available for everyone. It's still worth mentioning. Also, I will give Tibetans additional bonuses when they convert certain amount of units (I’m not entirely sure if there’s such a condition available in triggers).
Lastly, I don’t know what's up with the Mongols but I had people complaining they were unbalanced from the very beginning! The version you played (1_0_5) is the one with more spawn and bonuses for the Mongols. Maybe one of the reasons they are deemed so unworthy is because of everyone ganging up on them even though that wasn’t my intention. I still want the Mongols to be the hardest to play without making it noob-friendly. We’ll have to wait and see. Thanks!
EDIT: The template I used didn’t have expansions. Also I thought it’d be nostalgic for people who have played the campaign as a child. I’m just a weirdo.
good mod lightning
lots of territories for buildings
also japan should be able to get ikko ikki monks once the mongols invade china and tibet
to simulate them retreating to japan
also maybe give japan a start isolationist tax for having over 40 units which can be gradually removed by militarizing?
which could eventually remove the negative entirely and turn into less tax and more max pop
just a thought to simulate their society changing to that of a militaristic expansionist empire
