Green highlighted items not highlighted green.
Hullo.
Whenever I try to play this, the green highlighted items are not showing up highlighted, and I only find them by trial and error. Is there any setting that affects this?

Yes, mu_halo_render and mu_halo_loot they must both be set to 1 to be able to see the green outlines.
Just enter
mu_halo_loot 1 mu_halo_render 1
into console

Hello again.
So the mu_* commands did nothing to change my situation. Guns and collectable props still do not glow green.

It has been suggested that my graphics settings may be causing this. Is this a possibility? Everything is set relatively high...

I have noticed that the turtle loot appears to be the only one without a halo on our server, I noticed this when I was manually placing loot and when playing

We recently played in a group. Everyone using OS-X did not see the green outlines where the ones on Windows did actually see it. Is there a way to get it working on OS-X?

@Mechanical Mind: just double checked and it's not working. I did:
* Create a new local server
* Set the properties above
* had some friends join

Same result. Windows users saw the outline, mac users (including myself) did not.

As a follow up:

In sandbox, when you pick up a prop with the physgun, do you see a outline around it?

Well I'm not sure then. You should see them if
mu_halo_render mu_halo_loot mu_halo_knife
are all set to 1.

I'm having the same problem, I tried those commands in game , reinstalled the gamemode but it's the same. It could be a popular addon conflicting though, I didn't have this problem until now.

Try disabling your addons. What is your OS?

Windows 7. I managed to find and disable an addon that has been causing errors everytime I launch singleplayer, but haven't checked on murder yet. If the problem still persists I'll try disabling my addons and joining a game as suggested and will report the results.

Alright,I disabled all my addons, restarted steam and garrysmod, turned on mu_halo_rener, mu_halo_loot and mu_halo_knife but it doesn't seem to affect anything. Could this be related to my OS? I doubt it's anything related to graphics as this hasn't happened until now.
