I was the Iceni..
And at about turn 10, the three factions that surround me declared war on me.. after about 50 turns of research I finally have great spears and iron born, and I repel 6 full stack armies with 2 full stack armies of great spears and iron born, why did this happen? At about turn 2 actually the people who are VERY FRIENDLY toward you declared war on me, then I made peace with them, then on turn 10 the three factions declaed war on me... is this supposed to happen?

ALSO: 3 factions in the spain/france-ish area declared war on me after I conquered all of Britain (including scotland and ireland).

??

When I played without the mod, this didn't happen, that's why I ask.

i just played iceni without this mod last night and everyone in britain declared war, and like u said 3 people from spain/france declared war on me after i took over britain.

iceni is a warring country
just like most barbarian factions in rome, u wanna fight a lot and people wanna fight u a lot. doesnt have to do with the mod, just your faction/difficulty/RNG.

Thanks for the reply, I just finished conquering almost all of Western Europe, in your game does Rome instantly die? Right after I invaded France, Massi destroyed Rome. (I had a spy messing around over there).

Rome dies within early game every time I don't play as them.

I had the economic and coin mod when I played as rome alot of minor factions and some barbaric major ones died off early don't know how it would work when playing anything else.

Sometimes the diplo can get very strange, but mostly I have people allying with me. Usually wars are 3-6 people vs the same numbers. All manner of varying MAs, DAs, satrapys, client states...it's crazy.

for me Rome 2 progress was always random wiíth and without mod. Sometimes Rome actualy managed to get off and start growing, sometimes Carthage moved there and conquered all. Sometimes I even see Seulecid destroyed by their neighbours. And other times not.

It's actually kind of nice having a bit of RNGsus in the diplo and campaign maps. Makes things interesting, if not confusing.

I played normally as the Iceni and I realized if you don't ally with he other tribes, they will declare war on you sooner rather than later.
